By now I’m sure you’re pretty familiar with the Keto Krate monthly subscription box, so I’m going to run through this pretty quick…
I’ll give you 1) a value breakdown of this month’s box, and 2) the best places to get the individual keto products in the box.
Plus my coupon codes in case you just want to order straight from the sites. 😉
♥ ♥ ♥ This Keto Box Is A GREAT Way To Kick Off The New Year! ♥ ♥ ♥
They do still have some of these boxes left and they’re shipping next business day right now, so grab one if you want one – because they’ll stop shipping this box on Friday (Dec 28th), unless they sell out before then.
If you got the December Keto Krate, I look forward to hearing YOUR thoughts: what you’ve tried & what you liked or didn’t like. Leave a comment & let’s discuss!
The December Keto Krate: A Box Full of Low Carb Food Fun!
Right now you can get 15% off THIS Keto Krate box with the code TRAVELINGLOWCARB15, making this box only $34 (with free shipping).
Each Keto Krate box comes with a variety of low carb products. This one has 9 new full-sized keto products including Low Carb Cookie Mix and Keto Chocolate Bars.
See the insert from the Keto Krate box here (includes recipe)
I’m working with Keto Krate to help spread the word out about this awesome service, because I LOVE it. In exchange I get to try the products plus I earn a small one-time referral fee when you sign up. And I don’t get to dive into my box the minute it arrives and devour the chocolate, because I have to take photos & do product research to put together all these fun details for you!
Here are the 9 low carb products in this month’s Keto Krate box
If you prefer to watch the video, or maybe just listen in while you scan the details below, you can watch the video here as I walk through my personal experience with each of the products in this month’s box:
I included the BEST prices for each individual product as listed on Netrition (my favorite low carb store online!), Amazon, or their own website. That way you can order (or reorder) individual products at the cheapest possible places. 🙂
CocoPolo Toasted Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Bar
They are no longer selling on Amazon. You can get 5 bars for $27.50 or 8 bars for $42.00 on their website – they don’t offer singles. PLUS $10.50 flat rate shipping.
So it would cost you a minimum of $37.50 to order this bar from their website (and you’d get FIVE, so hopefully you like it!).
You can order a box of 10 bars for $42.99 on Netrition, so you can’t order singles there either. But it IS a better deal for 10 bars instead of 8 bars on Netrition. With the $6.99 flat rate shipping, that’s $49.98 total.
This is my FAVORITE CocoPolo bar!
Unfortunately Netrition is currently OUT OF STOCK for this flavor.
* This is what I love MOST about getting Keto Krate. Often you can’t buy a single item out of the box… for less than the price of the ENTIRE krate itself. 😉
Because right now you can get the entire Keto Krate box with ALL the products for just $34 + free shipping using code TRAVELINGLOWCARB15.
Bunker Hill Buffalo Crunchy Cheese Crisps
What I love most about Bunker Hill is that they’re a cheese company, not a “keto company.” They’re dairy farmers, and have been in the cheese business since 1935.
I got to meet them at KetoCon last summer and taste test some of their products, and I can say that they definitely have the BEST “cheese crisp” products on the market – hands down, no comparison – so I was excited to see this one in my Keto Krate!
You can get these on Amazon but only in a variety pack of 3 flavors: Jalapeno, Ghost Pepper BBQ, and Buffalo (Pack of 3) for $14.99 + Free Shipping. They come in other flavors too like Gouda, Cheddar, Parmesan, Swiss, Chili Lime, etc.
You can get a 4-pack of the Buffalo Crunchy Cheese Crisps on their website for $14.99 + $7.30 shipping to my location, for a total of $22.29.
So Amazon is cheaper, plus you can choose from different flavor varieties.
Vanilla Almond Stoka Bar
These are AMAZING, like a crunchy granola bar. And they crumble up to make a GREAT keto friendly cereal too. 🙂 I love these!
They are available in just a handful of “health nut stores” across the U.S. but otherwise you have to get them on Amazon. They are $23.92 + Free Shipping for a box of 8 bars.
The Coco Almond flavor is good too, but the Vanilla Almond is definitely my favorite.
Shrewd Food Brickoven Pizza Protein Crisps
These are really good. Think “cheese puffs.” You can only get them on Amazon and they have a variety of flavors. You get 8 bags for $14.99 + Free Shipping.
I’m actually more interested in their sweet flavors: Cookies & Cream + Strawberries & Cream Variety Pack – but they’re currently out of stock on Amazon. Boo! 😛
ChocZero Keto Bark: Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Peanut
This was a box of 6 bars. You can get a 2-pack of 12 bars on Amazon for $14.99 + Free Shipping, and they do come in a variety of flavors – hazelnut, almonds, coconut, etc. And also Milk Chocolate varieties.
You can buy individual boxes of 6 bars for $6.99 on their website, but the shipping was estimated at $5.99 for my location. They do have free shipping on orders $35 or more though, and we have a coupon code: TravelingLowCarb you can use for a discount.
Legendary Foods Cheddar Bacon Seasoned Almonds
I love EVERYTHING about Legendary Foods. 🙂
If you go to that ^ link you’ll see my overview of all their products and some of the fun ways I use them, including my fun recipes with their flavored nut butters!
You can get these almonds on Amazon in a pack of 12 individual packs like the one in the picture above for $27.99 + Free Shipping. You can also get a 4-pack of the larger bags for $22.99 and Free Shipping.
You can get free shipping on their website too though with orders over $50, and they have variety packs for both their seasoned almonds in 3 flavors and their nut butters in 5 flavors. Browse Legendary Foods and use coupon code LOWCARBTRAVELER for our discount there.
Good Dee’s Low Carb Peanut Butter Cookie Mix
I love baking with Good Dee’s mixes! You can get REALLY creative with them because they’re super easy to work with. See some recipe examples here.
I’ve used her Snickerdoodle cookie mix before to make bars, I just mixed in plenty of nuts and cut them in squares to eat on the go.
I’m thinking I’ll use this Peanut Butter Cookie Mix as a pie crust for a low carb chocolate cheesecake. 🙂
There are 3 ways to order Dee’s awesome Low Carb Mixes:
- Browse Good Dee’s Website
$11.99 + $6 shipping (use code LOWCARBTRAVEL15 for 15% off) - Order it at Netrition.com
$11.99 + $6.99 flat rate shipping - Get it on Amazon
$12.99 + Free Shipping
Her low carb blondie mix is amazing mixed with nuts & cream cheese! She also makes low carb cornbread mix and lots more. They’re the most fun when you get creative with them. 😉
FatSnax LCHF Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are not overly sweet like some keto cookies so you won’t experience that weird cooling/tingling effect in your mouth with these, or a strong aftertaste.
They’re much more like shortbread cookies, so I often have them with coffee for a an easy breakfast on the run or at my desk.
You can get a 6-pack of 12 cookies (2 cookies per pack) on Amazon for $22.98 + Free Shipping, or you can get them on their website for $17.99 + tax & $2.99 shipping (mine came out to $20.98).
I highly recommend the LEMON FatSnax Cookies – and I’m not usually big on lemon flavor, but they’re amazing and definitely their best flavor yet.
Keto Bars – Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar
There are a couple of things I like about these bars. One is the packaging. They’re very well sealed which has made them great for my waterfall hiking adventures. I don’t have to worry about them getting ruined and they don’t squish, so they’re great for backwoods adventures and travel alike. Just toss in your bag & go!
They have a very strong coconut texture/flavor to them, so if you don’t like coconut you will not like Keto Bars. But if you do, you’ll love them!
To me, they remind me of a Mounds Bar – in different flavors. 🙂
The Chocolate Peanut Butter is a “sweet & salty” kind of flavor. Factor in the coconut texture/flavor of course, then maybe cocoa and sea salt – that’s what this one is like.
They are $24.95 for a box of 10 on their website, and you can get 10% off when you sign up by email. You also get free shipping if you order two or more boxes. If you just ordered one box it’s $4.99 shipping for a total of $27.44 with the 10% discount.
They’re very filling which is a plus too. They’re not something I crave or can’t live without, but I do love having them on hand. Especially for hiking and flights, as a compact portable (filling) snack that can stand some banging around and won’t make a mess.
See my detailed review with photos of the texture, and the different ways I eat them (layered up!). 🙂
Keto Krate always includes fun, creative low carb recipes for at least one of the products in each box – plus coupons & discount codes too.
Price Breakdown & Comparison
You have to order most of the items in bulk or by the box instead of individually, and from a variety of websites. Using the cheapest options (not necessarily the best value), it would cost you $188.78 to purchase these products on your own.
That makes the Keto Krate a GREAT value at only $39.99 + Free Shipping! You can cancel anytime, or even order individual Krates on their website now too. They also include coupons & discount codes in every box, increasing the value even more.
They’re shipping this Keto box next business day right now. Go to: https://www.TravelingLowCarb.com/krate and use coupon code TRAVELINGLOWCARB15 for 15% off
You only have until Friday 12/28 to get this box – then they’ll stop shipping these and start shipping the January box.
I’m not yet sure what’s in it, but I heard rumor (from a trusted source! *wink*) that the January box is going to be GREAT too. 😉
It’s NICE to be able to try individual products at such a great price!

I would love to hear what YOU tried from this box so far, what you loved and what you didn’t, or what you would like to try from the list above if you don’t subscribe to Keto Krate’s monthly delivery service.
It takes a lot of work to do these detailed price comparisons of each product in the box, but I wanted to do the research for you – and give you links where you could find the products individually. Because it’s FUN to discover new low carb foods & fresh options to mix things up a bit – even if you don’t subscribe to “the box.” 😉
I look forward to hearing your thoughts…
